Our Pastor
Eric has been the Pastor of Christchurch Baptist on Burwood since February 2022 and has been attending the church and serving faithfully since 2003, as a member, a Sunday School teacher, a lay preacher, a Youth Leader, and a Deacon among other ministries.
Eric married Kimberley in 2005 and have 5 Children together- Nathaniel (Jan 2007), Blake (Oct 2008), Jazmine (Sep 2010), Makayla (May2012) and Aria (Feb 2019)
Eric was lead to the ministry through circumstantial situations in his life and in the life of the church, in which which believes was given by God, He had some 'condition's' that needed to be met, for example a desire to be the Pastor- 1 Timothy 3:1. Once these 'condition's' were met, God worked toward the next step(If you want to find out details, why not go to our contact page and give him a call or an email, he's happy to share with you his testimony) After prayerful consideration and a conversation with Kimberley and some family, friends and Pastors around the country he applied for the Pastorate and was accepted in Feb 2022.
Eric is a born and bred Cantabrian/Kiwi of Samoan heritage, loves his faith, his family, his food and his footy(sports in general). That's all for now, if you want to know more please don't hesitate to reach out.
